I sat by my window

 

Oh, if someone asked me

what I did all evening

I'll tell them what I really did

I sat by my window

played music on some random playlist

and sat here staring at the sky for a long long time

I shared a brief moment with you

if I tell them this, they'll think I'm crazy

I know I am

but this is the closest I get to be

I sit here in silence and stare at the sky

I've noticed if I look at the stars for long enough

I would probably even catch a glimpse of you
